Our Client, an international NGO operating in the countries of Uganda, DRC, Sudan and Central African Republic is seeking to recruit for the following national positions based in Kampala to support their projects
Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Office, the role is to carry out overall M&E strategy development, alignment and implementation of related activities within the region
Key Accountabilities:
• Take leadership in developing, disseminating and internalization of the organizations’ theory of change among the staff and key stakeholders
• Review current practices with the view to ensuring joint development of a shared M&E system based on the existing programs and systems
• Develop strategies to institutionalize M&E expertise within regional programs
• Identify key performance indicators and parameters for monitoring project performance and comparing it to target
• Manage the M&E budget to ensure all approved funds are spent and reported in line with donor regulations
Qualification, Relevant Work Experience and Skills
• Bachelors Degree in Statistics, demography or quantitative economics or other relevant field is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in impact indicators, information/data gathering, impact assessments and quantitative analysis
• Experience in monitoring and evaluating community community regional programs
• Designing and establishing comprehensive M&E systems
